El Salvador is highly vulnerable to climate change
In 2016, El Salvador had to declare a national emergency due to a severe drought. With an expected reduction in rainfall of up to 40%, the RAICES project will intervene in the Cacahuatique Mountain Range in the Department of Morazán, an important region for water security and coffee production in El Salvador.
