Alicia Velasco

Sub-Coordinator, ResCA

Alicia is originally from El Salvador and she has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She has been a part of the Fishery and Aquaculture Sector Organization of the Central American Isthmus (OSPESCA) team since 2004.  She oversees administration, finance for the projects and agreements of OSPESCA, and gives follow through on the shared projects which work toward executing the national action plans. She assists national entities in the role and functional capacity of the opposing party organization. She coordinates efforts with other entities when the opportunity arises by executing administrative and financial tasks and providing additional support in the communications area. Currently, she is administering the project “Focus on Ecosystem-based Adaptation in the Caribbean Spiny Lobster Fishery” with the ResCA project of The Nature Conservancy.
