Carolina is from Brazil and has a bachelor’s in accounting with a specialization in audits. She is based in the Brazilian City of Curitiba. She has been with TNC since 2011 in the grants area supporting the conservation team’s project management with public funding from agencies of the United States Government, multilateral entities, local governments, and more. During her 8 years at TNC, she has worked on diverse projects and has ample knowledge about the regulations of specific donors.

Specifically, as the grant’s specialist, she oversees compliance and budget administration for the projects; completing internal and donor financials reports. She is also responsible for the administration, supervision, and auditing of sub-donations that TNC provides other organizations and attends to the internal and external audits of each project. In general, her principal role is to guarantee that the agreed upon rules and procedures are followed.
