Karina has a bachelor’s in Tourism from the Autonomous University of Chiapas. She has 18 years with The Nature Conservancy, where she has gained experience in projects and contracts using public and private funds. She also has several certificates from the Institute of Technology and Higher Education of Monterrey including planning and strategies for conservation, administration, finance, project management, organizational development, marketing, and fundraising. She is also currently studying for a bachelor’s in Law from the Online University of the Institute of Legal Research of the Autonomous University of Chiapas.
