As a Senior Attorney on TNC’s Latin American and Caribbean legal team, Katharine supports TNC’s conservation activities in over 20 different countries. Originally from Washington, DC, Katharine attended the University of Virginia to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and her Juris Doctorate. She worked for a private law firm in Charlottesville, Virginia, prior to joining TNC in 2015. Katharine’s work with ResCA focuses on drafting effective agreements with donors, partners and contractors to create strong relationships that will provide compelling conservation results. She makes sure that TNC’s work in the field complies with the U.S. laws and regulations that govern its non-profit status and improves coordination with government and multi-lateral agencies who provide generous support to TNC.
